SPG Foundation is a non-profit organization by youth, for youth, and with youth. Our primary mission is to help young adults aged 18-35 in the Greater Toronto Area reach their full potential and become vital members of their communities. The foundation focuses on one core program each month, efficiently utilizing resources and maintaining a quarterly balance between sports, culture, and youth development categories.

We are seeking a skilled Application Development Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to translate innovative concepts into functional digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement mobile applications for foundation programs
2. Develop and manage the foundation's NFT token-based reward system
3. Coordinate with external developers and technical partners on application development projects
4. Ensure digital platforms align with the foundation's mission and youth engagement goals
5. Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal functionality
6. Develop user guides and training materials for staff and program participants
7. Monitor application performance and implement improvements
8. Coordinate the integration of digital platforms with the foundation's website and social media
9. Maintain documentation of technical processes and systems
10. Stay current with digital trends and recommend innovative approaches to engage youth

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
2. Multiple years of experience in application development or technical project management
3. Experience coordinating development teams or technical projects
4. Strong understanding of mobile application development processes
5. Knowledge of blockchain and NFT technology fundamentals
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Strong communication abilities to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
8. Experience with user experience (UX) design principles

Preferred Requirements:

1. Experience developing applications for non-profit or community organizations
2. Knowledge of gamification strategies for engagement
3. Experience with volunteer management systems
4. Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
5. Microsoft Office tools proficiency (PPT, Excel, Word, Teams)
6. Project management certification or experience
7. Proactive communication attitude
8. Experience with youth-focused digital initiatives
9. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms for merchandise sales
10. Bilingual capabilities (English, Korean)
11. Notable achievements or unique experiences in the field (if applicable)
